73136 was hired by West Coast Railway Co. (WCRC) to operate the former Southern Region General Managers Saloon on a tour of the Southern Region.

73136 is on hand at Eastleigh (Works) for the movement of 'stored' EMUs in and around the Eastleigh area. Currently stabled within the works complex, it is periodically stabled in the loco point adjacent to the station.
